Threads of the Past: Samantha Parkington
For the past decade, I've wanted to sew for 18" Dolls, even though I didn't have any. Life got busy, and my sewing dreams were put on hold. My mind is constantly filled with endless ideas for doll outfits, from 11.5" fashion dolls to Cabbage Patch to 18" dolls. Last year, I finally took the plunge and bought my first AG doll , Nicki Hoffman. I chose her because of her straight hair, thinking it would be easy to maintain. Initially, I only intended to use her for business purposes, but then I found myself swept up in the world of 18" dolls. Before I knew it, my collection grew and I realized I'd gone a bit overboard!
