I announced my last pattern,  Dino Overalls for Cabbage Patch Kids , I decided to make overalls for 18" dolls, such as American Girl. It uses the same buckles and buttons found at  Busy Bee Headbands .   Dino Overalls--Sewing pattern for a classic t-shirt and overalls set inspired by the vintage Cabbage Patch Dino Overalls, featuring a white t-shirt with contrast trim at the neckline and sleeve hems, and overalls with a bib-front and centered pocket, shoulder straps with dungaree buckles, decorative side button waist closures, two front hip faux pockets, two back pockets, and straight-cut legs finished with fold-up cuffs. As I've been working on custom orders for Kimono outfits, I decided to update my pattern. Available on Etsy . I added instructions for the Fan and Hair Accessories, as well as rewrote the instructions to be more clear, and did some minor adjustments to the pattern pieces. Overall, I'm very happy with how it turned out. Now I can continue making the rest of the outfits and will be sharing them as well.

Create a sweet Strawberry Shortcake-inspired outfit for your favorite 18-inch doll with this detailed pattern.   The pattern includes tights, bloomers, dress, and hat.    The hat brim and crown is lined with interfacing to keep the shape, and then stuffed to give it fullness, with a cute little strawberry on top.     The dress has a faux apron with sleeve ruffles, complete with the iconic green squares and stitched red X’s.   The bloomers are trimmed with eyelet lace.    Dolls are wearing store-bought shoes. Exciting news!  My brand new sewing pattern,Crystal Barbie-Inspired Ensemble, is now available on cpkdiana.etsy.com ! Note: I have had to take out all "Barbie" references from the listing and blur the face due to Mattel's extremely strict enforcement of their trademark and intellectual property rights. Apparently no one is allowed to use the term "Barbie" or even use a Barbie doll in a photo of something that is being sold. I have written to Mattel to get permission to use doll images, but it could take weeks to hear back. I'm also working on patterns for Cabbage Patch Kids and American Girl Dolls, which will be available soon! In addition to selling patterns, I'm considering offering finished outfits for purchase. If you'd be interested in buying outfits for your dolls, please let me know! This will help me gauge interest and plan my fabric purchases accordingly.
