1983 Coleco Catalog

Image
On Hilary's Cabbage Patch Kids Clothes Closet , she mentions how each of the outfits had an original name.  For instance, the Giraffe Bib Dress was originally called "Lil Lollipop."  She says it's in the 1983 Coleco Catalog.  Well, I found it!  Here's some pictures of the catalog.  I love stuff like this.  I find it so fascinating.  Click the photos to enlarge them.  I just wonder who has all these prototypes!?  I would love to get my hands on some of them. Hangers For Cabbage Patch Clothes

Image
I decided to turn part of my farmhouse  bookcase into a closet for my Cabbage Patch Kids.  I found some hangers and tension spring curtain rods on Amazon that worked perfectly. The bookcase section measured 15" across.  The curtain rod is adjustable 12-20 inches, and is .83" wide. The clothes fit on the hangers, but if they were any smaller, they'd be too small for the clothes.  Some I had to clip to hold the bloomers on.  The small hangers also fit the smaller newborn dolls. I like the full size hangers for outfits, to hang both a dress and bloomers together.  The regular hangers are perfect for dresses, shirts, and rompers.
