Pattern Booklets - Foster Children and Doll Baby

Soft Sculpture and "adoptable" dolls were the trend back in the 80s.  Esther Lee Foster had "Foster Children," while Martha Nelson Thomas had "Doll Babies."  Here are the booklets that were available. Foster Children Esther Lee Foster made quite a few pattern books for soft-sculpture dolls and their clothes.  Patterns available were 12" Elves, 12" dolls, 15" dolls, 18" dolls, 22" dolls, and 26" dolls, and clothes for each. Commercial Patterns - McCalls, Simplicity and More

These are all the patterns not specifically for Cabbage Patch Kids, and/or not endorsed by OAA.  They include McCalls, Simplicity, and others. Pattern Booklets - Doll World and Cradle Creations

Pattern Booklets There were many pattern booklets being made in the 80s. Some were specifically for Cabbage Patch Kids, such as booklet by Plaid, which I made in another post .  These are booklets called "Around the World," and "Cradle Creations."  These were not specifically for Cabbage Patch Kids.  They were for all types of "adoptable" dolls.
